Sand dryer is also known as the three pass drum dryer, three return cylinder dryer, on the basis of the single-cylinder dryer, developed and manufactured.

Sand dryer machine is mainly used for drying a certain humidity and size of granular materials, such as yellow sand used in dry powder and mortar, various specifications of sand used in a foundry industry blast, furnace slag used in building materials and cement industry, clay in a small size, small materials which have no chemical changes, resists high temperature and are with flyblown dust, used in chemical industry. In according with the request of materials and water in different industries, water in materials which are dried can be below 1%-0.5%.And precisely monitor and control the materials temperature and effectively take advantage of heat.

Main structure of Sand Dryers

Wet material hopper,disc feeding belt conveyor, three drum sand rotary dryer ,burning furnace (coal ,waste wood ,biomass pellet and so on) or burner with the burning room(nature gas ,diesel ,heavy oil,LPG coal gas and so on), discharging belt conveyor(bucket elevator), cyclone, impulse bag type dust collector (Water spray dust remover)with ID fan, connecting ductwork, controls and a control house.

Process flow of sand dryer machine:

Step1 :The wet materials are first evenly sent to the belt conveyor through the feeder, and then enter the dryer through the conveyor belt.

Step 2 :The heat generated by the fuel combustion in the hot blast furnace enters the main machine under the action of the exhaust fan and comes into contact with the materials, completing heat transfer and quickly evaporating water.

Step 3 :The three-cylinder dryer has a three-pass sealed structure, which can reduce heat loss and improve thermal efficiency. The product is put in from the inlet of the hopper, sent to the internal cylinder where heating of the product is made, then moves to the middle cylinder where evaporation of moisture is promoted further. The solid constituent of the product is gradually broken into pieces and discharged from the outlet via the third final drying zone. The dried material is transported to the linear vibrating screen for screening, and then sent by the elevator to the storage tank for storage or packaging.

Step 4 :The upper part of the hopper is used to discharge dust and other materials during the process. After being processed by the dust removal system, environmental protection can be achieved.
