For commercial spice processors and agricultural exporters, chili drying requires a strict balance between thermal efficiency and quality preservation. Drying Chili with Stable Color & Yield Matters More Than Speed. Chili drying requires precise temperature and airflow control to avoid darkening and capsaicin loss.
As an established EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) partner, Guoxin Machinery provides complete, turnkey chili processing lines.
We engineer systems that handle everything from raw material intake to final moisture stabilization, ensuring your product retains its premium color, pungency, and market value.

Depending on your daily processing volume, factory footprint, and fuel availability, we offer two distinct commercial drying methods:

We don’t just sell standalone drying units. Guoxin Machinery specializes in fully integrated processing configurations designed to reduce manual labor costs and maintain strict food safety standards:
Bubble Washing Machine → De-stemming & Sorting → Precision Slicing (Optional)→ Automated Feeding Conveyor → Mesh Belt / Heat Pump Dryer → Cooling Conveyor → Industrial Packaging Unit

Q1: How do you prevent chili peppers from losing their bright red color during continuous drying?
A: Color degradation is caused by high temperatures caramelizing sugars and breaking down pigments. Our systems rely on medium-to-low temperature dehydration (55℃-65℃) paired with a high-volume air displacement system (40,000^3/h). This setup removes surface and core moisture rapidly without reaching temperatures that trigger thermal browning or capsaicin loss.
Q2: Can the mesh belt configuration handle both whole chilis and sliced/shredded chilis?
A: Yes. We customize the aperture size of the SUS304 wire mesh based on your primary raw material specifications. For facilities that process both whole peppers and sliced variations, we supply specific mesh weaves that prevent seeds and smaller pepper pieces from falling through the conveyor layers.
Q3: What are the primary facility requirements for installing a complete chili processing line?
A: Continuous mesh belt lines require a flat warehouse floor space ranging from 15 to 35 meters in length, along with access to standard industrial 3-phase power. During the engineering phase, our team provides custom 3D factory layout layouts mapping out exact connection points for utilities, drainage, and exhaust venting.
Q4: How does your system control internal relative humidity?
A: The drying line is equipped with electronic moisture sensors linked to a centralized PLC control unit. When internal relative humidity levels cross the optimized recipe threshold, automated exhaust fans or heat-pump condenser modules engage instantly to purge moisture while maintaining an even temperature baseline inside the chamber.
We works directly operators to match equipment configurations to real-world capital and processing goals.
