In April 2026, Guoxin Group conducted a specialized drying test for fresh mint leaves. The primary challenge in herb dehydration is maintaining the vibrant green color and high concentration of essential oils (menthol), which can be easily lost if the drying temperature is too high or the airflow is uneven.
For this test, we utilized our Energy-Saving Heat Pump Drying Machine designed for batch processing with high precision.

A. Preparation & Loading
Freshly harvested mint is spread evenly across multi-layer food-grade plastic trays. Our staff ensures that the leaves are not over-stacked, allowing for maximum surface area exposure to the circulating air.
B. Intelligent Parameter Setting
The system is managed by a WKD6070C PLC control panel, allowing for multi-stage drying cycles.

C. Circulating Airflow
The drying chamber uses a horizontal airflow design. Hot air passes through every layer of the trolley simultaneously, ensuring that the mint at the top of the rack dries at the exact same rate as the mint at the bottom.

Color Retention: The dried mint maintained its natural green chlorophyll pigment, a critical requirement for premium tea and culinary markets.
Fragrance Preservation: By using low-temperature heat pump technology, the volatile aromatic compounds remained intact.
