Unlike traditional hot-air convective dryers that are limited to single-category dehydration, modern food factories demand high-efficiency systems capable of shifting between diverse processing workflows. To demonstrate the thermodynamic adaptability of Guoxin’s microwave technology, this trial evaluated three distinct food categories with completely different thermal requirements: rapid snack puffing (shrimp chips), low-temperature seafood drying (yellow croaker), and instant ready-meal reheating/pasteurization (packaged spaghetti).

Phase 1: Rapid Puffing of Colored Shrimp Chips (Snack Processing)

  • Objective: Achieve instant, uniform puffing of raw starch-based shrimp chips without oil frying.
  • The Process: Raw, colorful shrimp discs were metered onto the food-grade Teflon conveyor belt and passed through the microwave chamber.
  • The Result: Within seconds of exposure to electromagnetic molecular agitation, the moisture inside the starch matrix vaporized instantaneously. Crucially, the microwave thermal effect doubled as an inline pasteurization step, eliminating potential foodborne pathogens to extend shelf life. During the live workshop tasting, our team confirmed that the noodles retained their perfect al dente chewiness, and the sauce did not separate or dry out.
